The Upper Valley Educators Institute (UVEI) focuses on preparing educators for leadership roles in schools
The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Dartmouth offers educational programs for adults

River valley Community College is a small, rural community college in Claremont and is the only institution in the state to offer Allied Health and Health Science programs
Vermont Technical College (now part of Vermont State University) offers programs in electrical and plumbing apprenticeship, manufacturing, healthcare, and more
The Dartmouth-Hitchcock Workforce Readiness Institute offers several programs to train individuals for medical professions such as Medical Assistant, Pharmacy Technician, Nurse Assistant, and more
The Hypertherm Technical Training Institute (HTTI) program takes newly hired machine operators and immerses them in nine weeks of paid training. Program graduates receive 22.5 college credits, are enrolled in a United States Department of Labor registered apprenticeship, and begin work in one of Hypertherm’s manufacturing facilities

The Treehouse Children's School is a child care center in Norwich with 2-5 day program serving ages 6 weeks-6 years and after school care for Kindergarten through Sixth Grade
The Children's Center of the Upper Valley provides high quality childcare for working families in the Upper Valley, serving ages 6 weeks-kindergarten from 6:30am-6pm Mon-Fri
The Creative Spirit Children’s Center offers care for children 6 weeks to 12 years of age, with Infant, Toddler, Preschool, after school and a Summer Seeker programs
The Hanover Nursery School offers programs Sept-Jun for ages 3-5
The Hartland Cooperative Nursery School offers program for ages 3 & 4 year olds (2 day program for 3year olds & 3 day program for 4 year olds) serving Windsor and Sullivan County families

Emergency Housing
The Upper Valley Haven provides temporary shelter and housing for people or families experiencing homelessness

The Lebanon Winter Shelter (160 Mechanic Street, Lebanon NH) is open nightly, providing shelter during cold weather months
WISE is a nonprofit servicing the Upper Valley focused on helping victims and survivors of Domestic violence, sexual violence, stalking, and more. One of the supports they offer is temporary housing in their Safe Home.
The City of Lebanon Human Services aims to relieve and maintain those in our community who are economically disadvantaged and unable to sustain the basic needs of food, shelter, and emergency medical assistance

Weatherization & Home Repair Resources
The Vermont Agency of Commerce and Community Development offers a Weather Assistance Program that can help eligible applicants make about $10,000 worth of improvements per home, add about 1500 square feet of insulation, and reduce drafts by about 40%
The Vermont Agency of Commerce and Community Development also offers an Energy Assistance Program that offers a discount on the monthly electric bill from 8% to 86% based on gross household income and household size
The Vermont Agency of Commerce and Community Development also offers an Fuel Assistance Program that helps eligible applicants pay part of their home heating bills.
Cover Home Repair is a local nonprofit that aims to build community by collaborating with volunteers and homeowners to improve homes and by promoting the sustainable reuse of donated goods. They provide home repairs, weatherization, and a Cover Repair Store.
Tri-County CAP's Weatherization Program provides an assessment of the household's energy efficiency to identify ways to improve efficiency and save costs related to heating, cooling, electricity, hot water, etc. Assistance is provided to income-eligible households in implementing improvements that will increase energy efficiency and reduce costs

Vermont’s Agency of Commerce and Community Development has created a Homes for All Toolkit aims to help up and coming developers build more accessible housing in Vermont
The Vermont Landlord Association serves residential and commercial landlords in Vermont, offering various resources such as landlord-tenant mediation, rental property listings, and management advice.
Vermont State Housing Authority’s Landlord Relief Program provides incentives and security to landlords who house Vermonters receiving rental assistance or experiencing homelessness. It offers reimbursement for expenses like holding a unit for a tenant, vacancy loss due to repairs, qualifying tenant damages, and early lease termination
